On Thursday, 7 July 2016, in the evening at 17:21, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 25.30), a Schwarzmuller PA2-E ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who violated overtaking rules and failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
