On Saturday, 6 August 2016, in the afternoon at 14:46, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 61.81), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Daelim and a Volkswagen Caravelle. Two people were injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Daelim (hospitalized) and a 52-year-old passenger of the Daelim (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Daelim, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. A 52-year-old passenger of the Daelim was drunk (2.62‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
