On Wednesday, 24 August 2016, in the evening at 20:50, in Kaunas, on T. Masiulio street, at the junction with Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Harley Davidson and a Yamaha. One person was injured — the 33-year-old driver of the Yamaha (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Harley Davidson (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
