On Friday, 9 September 2016, at night at 2:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 70.60), a Skoda Octavia hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Skoda (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
