On Friday, 14 June 2019, in the evening at 22:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Antakalnio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 70.60), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
