On Sunday, 11 September 2016, in the evening at 17:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 21.97), a Piaggio rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Piaggio, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
