On Sunday, 18 September 2016, in the evening at 21:34, in Šiauliai, on Dubijos street near No. 44, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Almera Tino and a KIA Motors Ceed. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Nissan (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
