On Sunday, 25 September 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės pr., at the junction with Ašigalio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Sebring and a BMW 320. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Chrysler (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
