On Saturday, 1 October 2016, in the evening at 22:15, in Klaipėda, on Minijos street near No. 39, a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Ford (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.06‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet.
