On Monday, 3 October 2016, in the morning at around 10:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on the Pagojė–Sedeikiai–Viešintos–Nociūnai national road (kilometre 12.20), a Toyota Carina hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Toyota (16 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs and failed to choose a safe speed.
