On Friday, 7 October 2016, in the evening at 21:10, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 152.11), an Opel Astra ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Opel (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
