On Monday, 24 October 2016, in the afternoon at 16:14, in Šiauliai, on J. Basanavičiaus street, at the junction with Sodo street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Volvo (43 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
