On Friday, 28 October 2016, in the afternoon at 11:21, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 301), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Avensis, a DAF and a Berger Sapl 24. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Toyota (14 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
