On Wednesday, 26 October 2016, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiauliai, on Tilžės street, at the junction with Gardino street, a collision with one vehicle turning left and the other right occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Bravo and a BMW 320 registered in Great Britain. One person was injured — a 22-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Fiat (18 years of driving experience), who failed to obey traffic-control signals and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
