On Wednesday, 16 November 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Studentų street near No. 16, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, a Skoda Octavia and a Subaru Legacy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
