On Saturday, 19 November 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street, at the junction with A. ir J. Gravrogkų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Master registered in Poland and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Renault (6 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
