On Wednesday, 21 December 2016, in the morning at 7:42, in Alytus, on Naujoji street, at the junction with Tvirtovės street, at a pedestrian crossing, a BMW X Reiche hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the BMW (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
