On Thursday, 22 December 2016, at night at 0:30, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 141.40), a Seat Leon ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Seat (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
