On Saturday, 7 January 2017, at night at 2:01, in Klaipėda, on Žardininkų street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Volkswagen Touran. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed.
