On Friday, 13 January 2017, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street, at the junction with Lazdijų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Fiat 500 and a Subaru Legacy Outback. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Fiat (6 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
