On Thursday, 26 January 2017, in the evening at 18:25, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street, at the junction with Pašilės street, a BMW 318 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 35-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
