On Monday, 30 January 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Klaipėda, on Sausio 15-osios street, at the junction with Taikos pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
