On Friday, 3 February 2017, in the afternoon at 12:10, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with P. Vaičaičio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Solaris. One person was injured — a 71-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
