On Friday, 17 March 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kauno city municipality, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF FT XF105.410, a Volkswagen Golf and a Wielton. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the DAF (16 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
