On Monday, 21 August 2023, in the evening at 17:35, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 99.51), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene.
