On Saturday, 25 March 2017, in the evening at 21:03, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr. near No. 80, an Audi 100 Avant hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 72-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to fulfil pedestrian duties.
