On Monday, 1 May 2017, at night at 2:30, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street, at the junction with Jurbarko street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Nissan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.87‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
