On Monday, 1 May 2017, at night at 1:35, in Kaunas, on Jurbarko street, at the junction with Jonavos street, on a bridge, an Audi A6 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Audi (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.01‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
