On Friday, 5 May 2017, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, on S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno street, a Ford Mondeo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Ford (15 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
