On Tuesday, 23 May 2017, in the evening at 19:52, in Marijampolės municipality, on R. Juknevičiaus street near No. 1, at the junction with Kauno street, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Mercedes-Benz E 220 CDI. One person was injured — a 14-year-old cyclist (hospitalized). The accident was caused by a 14-year-old cyclist, who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to give way when crossing an intersection and failed to choose a safe speed.
