On Saturday, 27 May 2017, in the afternoon at 15:20, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos pl. near No. 4B, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a light quad bike and a Skoda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of a light quad bike (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
