On Friday, 9 June 2017, in the evening at 20:15, in Utenos district municipality, Jasonių village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 126.90), a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Volkswagen Transporter and an Aprilia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Aprilia, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
