On Saturday, 10 June 2017, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaunas, on A. Jakšto street, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Toyota Auris and a Peugeot 306. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Peugeot (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
