On Saturday, 24 June 2017, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Ašmenos 1-oji street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a MAN and an Audi A6 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the MAN. He was drunk (2.72‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
