On Friday, 21 July 2017, in the afternoon at 16:57, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 168, a Skoda Fabia hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 68-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Skoda (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.07‰ blood alcohol).
