On Thursday, 20 July 2017, in the afternoon at 13:51, in Šilalės district municipality, Palokysčio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 242.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the BMW (25 years of driving experience). Both drivers were sober.
