On Saturday, 16 September 2023, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Šilalės district municipality, Siautelių village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 241.13), a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Setra, a Nissan and an Opel. One person was injured — a 24-year-old passenger of the Nissan (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Setra (15 years of driving experience), who violated traffic rules on motorways. All drivers were sober.
