On Thursday, 10 August 2017, in the evening at 20:30, in Vilnius, on V. Grybo street near No. 7, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Toyota (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
