On Saturday, 12 August 2017, in the morning at 7:44, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Mažeikiai–Skuodas national road (kilometre 5.80), a DAF FT CF85.430 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the DAF (42 years of driving experience). He was drunk (0.08‰ blood alcohol).
