On Saturday, 12 August 2017, in the morning at 7:44, in Kelmės district municipality, Paprūdžių village, on the Ryga–Šiauliai–Tauragė–Kaliningradas main road (kilometre 102.20), a BMW X5 3.0D registered in Great Britain rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (11 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
