On Monday, 14 August 2017, in the evening at 17:13, in Trakų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 43.35), a DAF registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the DAF (15 years of driving experience). The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
