On Thursday, 17 August 2017, at night at around 23:00, in Anykščių district municipality, on Gegužės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
