On Friday, 8 September 2017, in the morning at 10:50, in Kaunas, on Vandžiogalos pl., at the junction with Pienių street, a VAZ 2103 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 50-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the VAZ (9 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
