On Friday, 15 September 2017, in the afternoon at 14:25, in Kaunas, on Kernavės street, at the junction with Vidurinė street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Concorde and a Volkswagen Multivan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 72-year-old driver of the Chrysler (21 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
