On Tuesday, 19 September 2017, in the afternoon at 15:48, in Plungės district municipality, Vilkų village, on the Salantai–Plateliai–Alsėdžiai regional road (kilometre 24), a Fiat Brava ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Fiat, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.97‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
