On Monday, 9 October 2017, in the morning at 9:47, in Šiaulių district municipality, on Ventos street near No. 6, an Opel Corsa hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Opel (12 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.35‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
