On Tuesday, 10 October 2017, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Giraitė–Užliedžiai regional road (kilometre 1.90), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 3ER Reihe and a Toyota Avensis. Two people were injured — the 25-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and the 24-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). Both drivers were sober.
