On Friday, 13 October 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr. near No. 11E, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a MAN and an Audi A4 Avant registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the MAN (24 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
