On Sunday, 15 October 2017, in the evening at around 18:00, in Telšių district municipality, on Respublikos street near No. 17, at the junction with Pirties street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Yamaha. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
