On Tuesday, 17 October 2017, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Jotvingių street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (26 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
